Model CPAF: Airfoil Plug Fan
Cincinnati Fan offers 12 sizes of the Model CPAF Airfoil Plug Fan in AMCA Class II and III construction. Designed to efficiently deliver large volumes of recirculated air, the Model CPAF can be provided with or without a housing.
All models are available with two airfoil wheel designs and in multiple widths from 50% to 100% to deliver exacting performance with a direct driven fan. Arrangement 9 belt driven fans are also available, which can be provided with insulated plug boxes for extreme temperatures.
This fan is available in AMCA C spark resistant construction.

• Standard construction, air stream temperatures to 200°F (93°C)
• Optional high temperature construction, temperatures up to 800°F (444°C)

Features
- All models available with two airfoil wheel types and multiple wheel widths from 50% to 100%, in 5% increments, to deliver the performance you need with a direct driven blower.
- Extended fan shafts extend the wheel through insulated oven walls up to 6” thick.
- Insulated plug boxes, up to 6” wide are available.
- Inlet bell for smooth air entrance into the wheel and maximize efficiency is standard on all units.
- Continuous welded housings are available.
- Heavy gauge steel fan frame and bracing, maximizes rigidity and assures long equipment life.
- Multiple lifting points for easy installation.
- Available with AMCA Type C spark resistant construction.
- All fans receive a mechanical run test to assure proper balance and alignment before shipping.
- Belt driven model includes heavy-duty, grease lubricated, self-aligning, cast iron, pillow block bearings selected for optimal performance.
- Fan shaft on belt driven model is turned, ground and polished and receives a high quality rust preventative coating prior to shipment.
- Arrangement 9 comes standard with belt guard, extended bearing lube lines and four- point motor adjustment base for proper belt tension.
Benefits
- Increased Efficiency: Airfoil wheels provide the highest efficiency of all centrifugal fan designs. The static efficiency of an airfoil wheel versus a backward inclined wheel can easily exceed 10%. This benefit results in lower brake horsepower consumption and a reduction in sound levels of 2-6 dBA. Less expensive to operate and quieter.

- Quality Components: Belt driven models have self-aligning, cast iron, grease lubricated, pillow block bearings sized for a minimum 150,000 hours average life. Fan shaft is turned, ground and polished and is coated with a high quality rust preventative before shipment. Long dependable service.
